Who is this Sidebander?
Let the radio fun begin.
I was in 3382nd
at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS
in 1957.
Took
basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX in 1956.
Then on to Keesler in '57 and from there to Misawa
AFB, in Northern Japan. Was at 1st radio. "On the Hill"
at Misawa until February of 1960. Some place, that Northern
Japan. We had two seasons, Winter and August.

Judy and I
hosted the 1997 YL Convention in Annapolis.
Judy and I hosted about thirty of the
"Early Birds" at our home. with the help of our daughter
Amy, and Judy's sister Debbie, we served dinner and drinks
in our front yard, the back deck, and in the house for those who
wanted to get away from the 95º MD temperatures. Having these
Sidebanders at our home was one of the highlights of my amateur
radio career. The YL System is "Instant Friendship!"
